New SEPO technology for EPO analysis
EPO analysis is based on a complex workflow of gel-based protein separation and the subsequent immochemical detection of ESAs. Various modifications as well as the usage of micro-dosing of endogenous EPO can now be detected in high precision within one analysis.
The introduction of special sample-specific standards (SEPOs) allow for step-by-step monitoring as well as for the very precise RP (relative position) determination of EPO bands to clearly distinguish natural and recombinant EPO.
