VELUM Precast 2D Gels

VELUM Precast 2D gels are horizontal, ready-to-use precast gels for 2D electrophoresis enabling for highly reproducible gel runs. Due to optimized heat dissapation compared to other precast gels the VELUM Precast 2D gels offer best protein separation. Furthermore, the gels come with a film support providing much more convenient handling and protein visualization (staining and/or imaging). Proteins can be blotted easily from the VELUM Precast 2D gels to Western Blot membranes by using the BEO Dry Blotter. 2 variants of VELUM Precast 2D Gels are available: The VELUM SILVER series is designed for vis-stains and red/ IR fluorescence imaging. The GOLD series is designed for all multiplex fluorescence 2D electrophoretic applications such as Refraction-2D, 2D-DIGE, Saturn-2D, etc.). Choose either gels for 18/ 24 cm IPG strips or 2 x 7/ 11 cm IPG strips.
