You need to analyze more than 8 samples? The VELUM Precast 1D gel series is designed for protein separation of 25-52 samples. For smaller numbers of samples cut the gels in halfs. Unused halfs can be stored for 1-2 weeks. When your number of samples Compared to other 1D gels, sample loading of these horizontal gels is much easier, the gel handling as well and no need of additional buffer. This and the perfect electrophoretic results (visualised either by staining (e.g. silver, Coomassie) or by stain-free fluorescence) are the most important point why we use the VELUM gels in our quality control and research labs.

VELUM Precast IEF Gels

VELUM IEF Precast Gels offer high resolution protein separation by IEF for 20-80 samples.

Protein detection either by our stain-free fluorescence technologies our by VIS-staining such as silver or Coomassie. Gels for 20 - 40 samples have a size of 250 x 110 x 0.65 mm, gels for 80 samples are 250 x 180 x 0.65 mm.
